PBIS & Character Traits

Edison Elementary promotes positive reinforcement of behaviors through a widely accepted program; Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports (PBIS). Students are encouraged using positive and constructive means with clear and appropriate consequences and rewards. Throughout the year students will earn the opportunity to attend special events at school depending on behavior, which is tracked through ClassDojo. In addition,  our class will focus on a specific character trait each month to encourage whole student learning. Students will explore character traits such as; safety, empathy, responsibility, trust, work ethic, leadership, problem solving, integrity, growth mindset, friendship, respect, and compassion. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please let me know.
